Tamriel is home to ten races of intelligent humanoids. Each hails from a different province of the Empire, each of which was originally a sovereign power unto itself. The races each have their own unique strengths and weaknesses which make them better suited to some tasks over others. Together, the races of Tamriel can be categorized into three main groups.
The Races of Man, or Humans, are short-lived and tend to hold a short-term point of view. However, the breadth of their powers have allowed them to subdue the other races.
The Races of Mer, or Elves, or the longest-lives and tend to regal airs. The elves of today are descendant from the mythic Aldmer, who first brought civilization to the barbaric humans of Tamriel.
The Races of Beast, or Beast Peoples, blend the characteristics of man and beast. They combine feral cunning with intellect in a very deadly way. However, they have been historically degraded by Man and Mer, often treated as cattle and slave labor.
Player character's should be of these ten races. While other cultures and groups of people do exist in the shadows of Tamriel, they are rare and mysterious figures, seldom seen and rarer still do they allow themselves to be encountered.
Argonian: +2 Wisdom, -2 Dexterity
Breton: +2 Intelligence, -2 Constitution
Dark Elf: +2 Intelligence and Strength, -4 Charisma
High Elf: +2 Wisdom, -2 Strength
Imperial: +4 Charisma, -2 Constitution and Strength
Khajiit: +2 Dexterity, -2 Charisma
Nord: +2 Constitution, -2 Wisdom
Orc: +2 Constitution and Strength, -2 Intelligence and Wisdom (minimum of 3 each)
Redguard: +2 Constitution, -2 Wisdom
Wood Elf: +2 Dexteity, -2 Constitution
